Silvia Rastelli graduated from Brera Academy in Milan, Italy. Both painter and performer with a penchant for dance, she has shown her work in numerous art shows and performed throughout Italy and Europe, incorporating different means to express her art. Her most important exhibitions include one at the DOCKS during the 13th International Biennale of Architectural Art in Venice, another at Raccolte Frugone of the Museums of Nervi and Genoa and still another for “Between Art and Design” at the Sala Murat in Bari. She has also exhibited her work and performed at the Biennale Italy-China in Turin. Silvia Rastelli’s artistic career has been influenced by various maestri, including Stefano Fugazza, Daniele Usellini, Silvia Fabbri, Maria Flora Giubilei, Fortunato D’Amico, Francesco Poli and Loris Zanrei. Her drawings and paintings use a static grid and bi-dimensional approach to express reality, while her choreography is a language articulated through the body of the dancer, giving life to dynamic objectivity in deep space.
